407 TRAINING VISA PATHWAY TO........

Training Visas are a useful tool to develop the requisite skills that build upon tertiary or trade qualifications - clients have attained in Australia or overseas. In main instances they also can lead to elibility for other visa categories.

The key training visa is the sub-class 407 Visa. The 407 Training visa has a similar structure to temporary employer sponsored visas in that there is a requirement for a:

• BUSINESS/EMPLOYER SPONSOR 

• A NOMINATION &

• A VISA APPLICATION

Eligibility is based on having worked or studied in the nominated position for a period of 12 months in the last 24 months. Additionally, your nominated occupation must be listed on IMMI 18/050 the eligible occupation list for the 407 visa. You can source IMMI 18/050 from the following link:
