The current GSM program consists of 4 key visa sub-classes, the 189 Skilled Independent, 190 Skilled State Sponsored and 491 Regional Provisional and 191 Visa. The GSM system operates under a points system. 

Skills Assessments

A compulsory aspect of any  most GSM ( 485 Visa, 189 Visa, 190 Visa, 491 Visa)  applications is the undertaking of a Skills Assessment. Skills Assessments must be prepared meticulously and must be submitted to the correct authorised skills assessment body. Where required, reference  letters must  address the relevant body's criteria and reference employment undertaken at the "correct skill level". Failure to do so correctly, can derail your migration project.

At GIC we will navigate you through these complex criterions, and avail you of the particular nuances and practices of the authorised Skills Assessment bodies. In most cases a negative skills assessment will result in a halt to your Skill Migration Objectives. It is important to ensure that your skills assessment application is concise and comprehensively addresses all objective criteria.
